About the job:

IHA is looking for a Client Success Program Manager to effectively lead several large-scale, high complexity health plan onboardings to the Symphony platform. The CS Program Manager will manage the overall onboarding for each health plan, including project plan development and execution, facilitate client meetings including executive-level engagement, management of issues and dependencies across all onboarding workstreams, and program level reporting. S/he will work closely with the program team, program leaders, technology partners, and vendors to drive deliverables for successful onboarding completion.

Core job duties and responsibilities:

  • Own and effectively manage the relationship with several complex health plan clients of diverse scope and serve as the designated point of contact and engagement driver
  • Partner with assigned health plans in developing onboarding project plan outlining dependencies and work with internal teams and external vendor partners to ensure alignment of goals, scope, timelines, requirements, and expectations for health plan onboarding to Symphony
  • Manage project resources to meet deliverables, including motivating cross-functional Business and IT Teams, and provide leadership on the engagement
  • Manage project-related risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, including making recommendations to management on mitigating and/or remediating activities
  • Develop and implement a communication plan to ensure all project participants are informed of project status, problems, and required actions
  • Resolve differences, adapt to unexpected events, and facilitate change to achieve outcomes; provide timely guidance to cross-functional stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with other internal departments, including product development, technology, marketing, support, training, and external partners, on product enhancements and to ensure operational readiness
  • Provide regular communications and project status reports to management, stakeholders, and the project team and recommend potential corrective actions as appropriate


  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management (Six Sigma and Project Management certifications are a plus)
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in the CA healthcare delivery system and health plan provider network management, contract management, or credentialing
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading complex project workstreams involving a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Solid understanding of Change Management methodologies
  • Extremely well organized with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with the program team, vendors, executive-level stakeholders; build and maintain positive relationships
  • Collaborative working style. Ability to effectively build relationships with staff at all levels. Desire to be helpful in any way needed to support the team, program, and organization
  • Ability to act on own initiative and make decisions
  • Strong initiative and superior productivity. Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized fashion. Strong sense of priorities and objectives
