About the job:

The Symphony Product Marketing Manager will support the build of the large scale Symphony Provider Directory for all health plans and providers in California. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, you will support the development and execution of marketing and outreach strategies and campaigns. This role requires product marketing skills along with experience in communications, brand management, and client engagement. This is a unique opportunity to work with thought leaders across California and be a part of a smart, hard-working, fun team that will lead a big and challenging project that can move the needle on a key health care industry pain point.

Core job duties and responsibilities:

  • Drive outreach strategies and campaigns that enable health plans and providers to experience the full value of Symphony
  • Own Symphony launches from a marketing and communications perspective
  • Work with Business Development team to refine the sales pipeline and account-based marketing strategies in support of acquisition goals
  • Partner with Client Success and Product team to roll out program-wide initiatives and educational campaigns in support of retention goals
  • Develop messaging, content, materials, and campaigns that accurately reflect brand and marketing objectives, clearly communicate benefits, generate interest in Symphony, and increase client engagement
  • Develop and run successful campaigns, measure and report insights, and assess against goals
  • Refine and manage the Symphony brand in partnership with marketing team
  • Research and recommend marketing mix, including communication methods, and technologies to engage with various stakeholders and audiences
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, customers, agencies and vendors
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to meet event goals and deadlines; set-up exhibit booths, and plan and execute on-site presence
  • Lead optimization as needed for Symphony


  • 3-8 years of experience in product marketing or marketing and communications roles in the health care industry
  • BA/BS in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively supporting marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Impeccable writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively supporting marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills; able to interact successfully and build relationships with people of all levels inside and outside IHA
  • Demonstrated past success, and enjoyment from working in a small, fast-paced, professional environment. Desire to be helpful in any way needed to support the team, program, and organization
  • Ability to travel post-COVID. Most travel is same-day, within CA, but overnight and/or national travel may be required periodically
