Job Description

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Senior Marketing Manager who is passionate about leading and owning marketing and lead generation across our products. We are seeking a strategic leader to manage, mentor and grow our marketing team but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. 

This role requires strong messaging and copywriting skills and must be detail oriented. This role is highly strategic, analytical and data-oriented and is suited for someone unafraid to work in a rapidly growing startup environment. This role will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear marketing strategy, based on deep understanding of our products, value propositions, and competitors
  • Establish a clear voice and marketing message and spread it through marketing channels and thought leadership
  • Own our marketing funnel from end to end, including optimizing each stage of the funnel
  • Own and optimize all digital marketing campaigns (AdWords, Capterra, Bing, LinkedIn, social, etc.)
  • Develop, manage and grow our consulting and affiliate marketing strategy for each product
  • Lead life-cycle marketing efforts to drive conversion of new prospects and retain existing customers
  • Work closely with our product team to explore and implement scalable platform-based growth tactics
  • Develop and grow our business analytics capability
  • Lead, mentor, and grow our marketing team

Experience

  • 3-6 years of marketing, management consulting, or private equity experience 
  • 2+ years of leadership experience (Manager level) 
  • Expertise with persona-driven messaging and content strategy for B2B
  • Exceptional project management skills and ready-to-roll-up-my-sleeves attitude towards problem-solving
  • Functional understanding and hands on experience implementing and managing Google Ads, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, Retargeting, and other paid channels
  • Knowledge and execution of SEO best practices and strategy
  • Has led and executed effective content strategy
  • Experience running effective social media engagement campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of and expertise in Martech automation/technology tools (e.g. Salesforce, Mailchimp, Optimizely), with proven experience in setup & implementation
  • Hands on experience in funnel optimization and conversion rate optimization strategy
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing and outbound e-mail campaigns 
  • Experience in editorial writing a plus
  • Experience in the legal industry a plus
  • 4-year degree in marketing or related program
