This is an exciting, newly created position to join a fast-paced and dynamic e-commerce company that is continuously at the forefront of the jewelry world. The Recruiter is accountable for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, assessing, and recommending potential employees for open roles. The Recruiter will be an advisor, empowered to embrace an inclusive and diverse candidate pool for all positions. Additionally, this position is responsible for partnering with and consulting hiring managers on all recruiting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Determine recruiting needs for Corporate Supply Chain and Accounting departments while assisting the HR Leadership with succession planning
  • Own full-cycle recruiting process for roles ranging from individual contributors to senior levels, ensuring a great client and candidate experience throughout
  • Actively attract and source candidates through the utilization of effective and resourceful recruiting techniques to maintain an adequate and diverse applicant flow
  • Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Recruit and interview candidates for the New York Office across different business units
  • Screen, schedule, and interview employment candidates and referrals
  • Serve as a Talent Advisor, with the ability to develop positive business relationships and a broad, diverse network with local agencies,  association memberships, trade groups, and colleges
  • Coordinate career and community events, as well as college campus visits and/or virtual appointments
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine & prioritize recruitment and hiring needs
  • Ensure all potential candidates receive timely feedback and responses along their candidate journey
  • Conduct pre-employment assessment testing & reference discussions for potential hires
  • Facilitate the self-nomination hiring process for internal candidates while ensuring timely feedback
  • Assist with other HR initiatives/projects as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of recent supply chain, corporate, or eCommerce recruiting experience (either as an internal recruiter or at a staffing agency)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent negotiation and team-building skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude with a proactive approach to work
  • Must have a positive, collaborative work style with the ability to work with a diverse population of leaders, team members, and candidates
  • Must have the ability to comfortably utilize resources on the internet and have familiarity with various recruiting websites (i.e. LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed.com, etc.)
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage a heavy workload in a complex environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Outlook
  • Professional approach with an understanding of confidentiality
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
