(Remote) Account Executive



SendSafely is the end-to-end encryption platform for modern business. Our mission is to make data privacy easy and accessible to everyone.

We are looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our growing Sales team. If you are passionate about working with prospective customers and have an interest in security and privacy, you'll love being a part of our team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, has a background in sales development, a great attitude and loves to learn.

Things you’ll do: 

  • Bring in new business by closing SDR-qualified deals originating from Inbound, Outbound and Inside channels
  • Guide SDR on Outbound lead targeting, generation and qualification
  • Become a SendSafely product expert who can perform demos, articulate the value of the SendSafely platform and differentiate our features from those of competitors
  • Nurture customers through the sales process to maintain momentum and ensure product adoption and integration
  • Run a book of business by building relationships with existing customers to develop and execute strategies to grow their accounts
  • Update pertinent client and deal information in the SendSafely CRM
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of SendSafely by sharing feature requests and product feedback with the Product Management team

Things you’ll need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of business email & phone etiquette
  • Ability to work effectively with Customer Success and Support Teams & external customers
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to deal with and adjust quickly to change
  • Ability and facilities to be able to work effectively and efficiently as a remote team member
  • Passion for technology and an ability to learn and/or already speak knowledgeably about software, SaaS business platforms and basic IT Security practices 

Things we’d love to see: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a Sales or B2B business development role
  • Knowledge of Zendesk platform including Sell CRM, and
  • Experience in online marketing, SaaS business, and/or retail/e-commerce arenas
  • Knowledge of basic web development and/or IT systems
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, open to Associates degrees with post-grad working experience.
