Job Summary

The Paid Search Specialist will manage Google, Bing, and all other pay-per-click (PPC) marketing activities. A successful Paid Search Specialist will find creative ways to meet ambitious customer acquisition targets, maximize ROI, and deliver high quality traffic and new customers. The Paid Search Specialist is in charge of managing the paid search budget and reporting on performance. This role reports into the SVP of Marketing, and will be the second in-house marketing position within the company. In addition to the day to day responsibilities, this role will interact with a variety of partners including our network of distributors, tire brands, lenders and insurance firms.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Scale Paid Search channels while simultaneously optimizing customer acquisition costs 
  • Develop and implement campaign structure and strategies unique to the Tire Agent business model
  • Work with product team to optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
  • Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
  • Execute tests٫ collect and analyze data٫ identify trends and insights
  • Track, report, and analyze PPC initiatives, campaigns and website analytics
  • Optimize Google Shopping and Display campaigns 
  • Effectively manage program budget and consistently forecast end of month estimates
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven paid search experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google and Bing
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Adept with website analytics tools (e.g٫ Google Analytics٫ Looker, NetInsight٫ Omniture٫ WebTrends)
  • Current on trends and best practices related to search engine marketing
  • Hands-on experience with bid management tools (e.g.٫ Search Ads 360٫ Marin٫ Kenshoo٫ Search, Ignite)
  • Knowledgable in Excel (pivot tables, look-up function and conditional functions)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience generating paid search reports
  • Experience with Criteo a plus
  • Previous roles at a growth stage company a plus
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML٫ CSS٫ and JavaScript development and constraints
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing or a related quantitative field
