We’re looking for a smart, tech-savvy people person to join our New York City office as a Client Solutions Team Lead. In this role you will be a player-coach, both leading implementations yourself and providing guidance for your team. You must be a hands-on leader who enjoys working directly with customers and with others throughout UpSlide to drive successful implementations. You will become a solution expert and leverage your experience to guide our implementations, as well as to coach other newer members of the team. 


Team Lead (50%)

  • Lead the US project delivery team (Client Solutions) to success as they deliver excellent client projects, ensure user adoption, and provide pre-sales expertise for major opportunities
  • Grow, coach and develop the 3-person (and growing) team.
  • Ensure your team follows best practice implementation processes and identify opportunities to improve our rollout methodologies and tools.
  • You will report to the US CEO and will be expected to manage team metrics including utilization, budget vs actual hours, staffing projections, and project margins to ensure the practice is running efficiently.
  • Manage and allocate resources in close collaboration with our Head of Sales.
  • Develop quarterly KPIs for the CS team that are in line with the overall regional OKRs.
  • Develop relationships at all levels in our customers’ organizations, including with executive sponsors, key business and IT stakeholders, and project team leads.

Implementation Project Leader (50%)

  • Directly own the success of a portfolio of customer implementation projects.
  • Develop relationships at all levels in our customers’ organizations, including with executive sponsors, key business and IT stakeholders, and project team leads.
  • Customize UpSlide to meet client needs, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Advise clients as an expert on UpSlide, analyze their presentation production practices, and suggest and implement new ideas to optimize them.
  • Train new users and administrators to ensure successful adoption.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of client facing software implementation and/or consulting experience, with demonstrated success managing enterprise scale projects.
  • 1+ year of management experience. Must have demonstrated success managing and leading a high-functioning team.
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required. Experience with VBA macros preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills — Ability to interact and engage with clients, transmitting messages with clarity and enthusiasm.
  • An interest in helping clients solve problems with technology and a taste for Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity or experience with Financial and Professional Advisory services and/or FinTech preferred.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Technical aptitude — quick learning and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • An eye for design and detail with high standards for deliverables.
  • Excellent people, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Spanish language a plus!
