Job Description

Wave Solar is looking for a motivated and personable Sales Development Representative to help us grow our network of home solar companies. Wave Solar matches homeowners with solar installers and builds easy to use sales software to put more solar on rooftops. In this role you will prospect, qualify and setup software demos with decision makers at home solar installation companies around the US. You will use a combination of leads provided to you and your own outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify home solar companies that would be a fit for our products
  • Select decision makers, find their contact information and log in our CRM
  • Email and call decision makers with the goal of scheduling software demos with eligible prospects over a screen share
  • Qualify and rank prospects to prioritize sales focus
  • Maintain an accurate log of activities in our CRM system
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals
  • Represent Wave Solar at solar industry conferences 
  • Document and refine your pitch along with common objections  
  • Communicate product suggestions to our engineering team
  • Setup and send email campaigns to prospective clients 
  • Announce new product features to prospective and current clients
  • Work effectively across the organization to move Wave Solar forward

Requirements

  • Past experience with B2B sales
  • A track record with prospecting and setting appointments or demos with decision makers

Nice to have

  • Experience in the solar industry
  • Experience selling sales, marketing or lead generation software to businesses
  • Experience with Zoom, Freshsales and/or Google Docs
