Job Description

As a Product Manager on our team you will plan, coordinate, support, and help drive activities related to research, design, development, testing and implementation of our entire product suite.

  • Execute on the design and development of our product roadmap
  • Work with cross functional groups including architects, analysts, developers, test automation AND sales engineers on the team
  • Collaborate in the development of technical and business strategy
  • Collaborate with our offshore teams to test new features and functions, gathering requirements and writing functional specifications
  • Estimate work effort from Product Management plans and requirements
  • Allocate and balance resources across a portfolio of active and planned projects
  • Communicate orally and in writing to a variety of technical and business experts
  • Define, develop and adhere to software design and development life cycle standards
  • Design templates, tools, and metrics to continuously measure and improve processes
  • Oversee the career development, performance, and compensation of the individuals on your team

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar areas of study
  • A minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience within a SaaS based organization
  • Strong background writing specifications, creating wireframes and writing tickets in Jira
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization inside and outside of IT
  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully communicate and collaborate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software features, explain technical designs, and articulate technical strategies
  • Experience in web-based projects with a preference on open source languages
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience championing software design, development, and UI style Guide standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing remote and offshore/nearshore staff
  • Hands-on experience with many disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
  • Experience with javascript languages, React.js and Node.js a plus
