The founding team at WorkRails experienced this firsthand in previous companies and asked themselves, “why should it take weeks and multiple resources to scope a project, configure the right solution and get to signature?” “And why is it so hard to get sales and service on the same page?” In examining the problem, it was clear that other companies shared the same pain and that spreadsheets, document templates and manual workarounds seemed to be the only solution.

Given the importance of services in driving value for companies and the impact automation is having on transforming business processes, WorkRails saw the opportunity to change the sales model for both buyers and sellers. The company’s Service Sales Platform automates the end-to-end selling process from scope to signature; reducing friction, accelerating revenue, and adding transparency surrounding services.

Job Description

  • Execute outbound sales prospecting to our target accounts through email and cold calling campaigns and other outbound prospecting including LinkedIn
  • Requires heavy outbound phone calling and emailing, and qualification to generate new demos / sales meetings.
  • Conduct research on the key executive contacts at our target accounts and identify ways to personalize your sales prospecting emails
  • Connect with target prospects, deliver our unique value proposition, qualify business requirements and opportunity, and relay the information to Account Executives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other team members in marketing and sales on your sales approach and tactics
  • Be a learning machine and learn the best practices of executing sales prospecting efficiently and effectively to produce results
  • Set initial sales meetings and provide hand-offs to the Account Executives (AEs)
  • Support AEs and update information in our CRM (HubSpot)
  • A self-starter mindset with a desire to win and continually exceed measurable objectives
  • Analytical, data-driven thinker and methodical/process-driven in your sales approach
  • Strong work ethic – ability to attain your daily goals/KPIs as established by the manager for sales activities per day including a combination of: outbound calls, personalized emails and automated emails

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 to 5 years of Outbound SDR experience in B2B SaaS
  • Minimum one year in cold-calling experience.
  • Proficient in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Apps and LinkedIn
  • Bonus: experience with Hubspot CRM and other prospecting tools
